Femicide Germany

In Germany, the discussion of Femicide is on the political and societal agenda now. The police data shows that every day an attempt to kill a women by the intimate partner was registered and every third day a women is killed by her current or former partner. In 2018, 122 women have be killed by an intimate partner. Almost 60% of the perpetrators have been known to the police prior to the Femicide.
