Femicide Cyprus
Ghada Al Nouri is the new victim of femicide in Cyprus. She was a refugee and found dead by social worker at ther home, at Paphos town. She had been stabbed to death in her house. The victim, 31 years old was a mother of seven children, three of whom were present. The husband was arrested later (as a prime suspect), but he denies his involvement. Being a refugee and a woman increase the vulnerability for any different forms of gender based violence.
