{"id":523,"date":"2021-10-07T13:49:25","date_gmt":"2021-10-07T10:49:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eof.cut.ac.cy\/?p=523"},"modified":"2021-10-07T13:50:41","modified_gmt":"2021-10-07T10:50:41","slug":"peer-review-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/eof.cut.ac.cy\/?p=523","title":{"rendered":"Peer Review Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Editorial team at the Journal of Gender-Based Violence (JGBV) are running online training for<br \/>\nresearchers, practitioners, and policy makers who are interested in reviewing for our Journal.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Tuesday 19 October 2021 from 1 pm to 4 pm (BST).<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The training will consist of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Watching a training video with time for comment and discussion with Editors;<\/li>\n<li>An opportunity to review a real academic article submitted to the Journal and discuss;<\/li>\n<li>See the process of submitting a review through the Editorial Management System in action;<\/li>\n<li>For those interested, register to be a reviewer for the JGBV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We welcome practitioners and policy makers as we have a policy and practice section in the Journal<br \/>\nand always welcome practitioner expertise.<\/p>\n<p>The Journal has a number of experienced regional Associate Editors who promote the Journal in a<br \/>\nnumber of international regions. Having international diversity within the review process is<br \/>\nimportant to us.
